who believes in same sex marriage?
i have a speech due this week at my college and i need more information. i am for gay marriage. i need some statistics. please put yes if you do believe in it and no if you don’t. also feel free to put in your opinion. thanks

One of my neighbors was in such a relationship. My daughter plays with their little girl, and I speak with the mother…but I can’t say in my heart of hearts I believe in it. I don’t think people are given a choice on whether they are gay or not…I have no problem with that…but perhaps it is just my upbringing.

Facts on same sex marriage?
I’m doing a speech in class and I need facts to support gay marriage. I am pro-gay marriage. Please include the statistics and the sites from which they came! thankyou and please no rude comments, I respect your opinions but this is for something serious.

Hi! There aren’t that many statistics that support gay marriage directly, however there are statistics showing that children of gay parents are no worst or better than heterosexual parents. Same sex marriage is more of a morality issue. To some people, it is breaking their tradition and it is fowl and unethical. However to others, it is not an issue at all. To me, I don’t see any reason disallowing same sex marriage. Gay couples do not disturb the world in anyway and they do not harm others. Gay couples may, however, be looked down upon by people who think it’s unethical, but it’s really not a big deal. Once again, same sex marriage is merely an opinion based debate that entirely comes up to what a person thinks is right and wrong. As I’ve said previously, tradition and morality plays a big role in the fight against same sex marriage. Religion also plays a part in disallowing same sex marriage. im doing a project on same sex marriage and i need to graph statistics.. what data would be good to graph?.i try looking for how many same sex couples are in each state but there’s not enough information regarding each state..i need help! it’s my senior project!!!

There aren’t many states where it is legal. Why not include diverse cultures around the world where love is recognized for what it is, not what your sex is. There are cultures that embrace all the sexual varieties with respect and appreciation for the diversity that each individual brings to society.

Can anyone give me some statistics regarding the legalization of same-sex unions in the netherlands? Like adoption rates, number of marriages, etc. It would be awesome if it could be in a before and after format. Sources are what will win best answer.
