therapy works when we work it.
otherwise it’s a waste of time.
Gee whiz, yes. Anytime you can talk about your past and get help making sense of it you can make life better for yourself. Seeing things through an adult’s eyes makes all the difference in the world.
Her has to want to work things out.
You can lead a horse to water ?
If you are willing to really follow the therapist’s advice, do the exercises he /she asks you to do and make the changes considered necessary, yes, therapy can help you.
But you need to be patient, and you need to work at it. You must really have the desire to get to know yourself better so you can make better decisions. Therapy is not for everyone, and it is not a magic wand, either. It is a valuable tool for those who are willing to change their behavior and patterns.
Please consider going to therapy if you feel you are questioning your entire life and the decisions you took.
Many men feel overwhelmed when they are around 45 – 50 and they feel like you do….so be careful and don’t do anything you might regret later on.
Feelings come and go; but they are very powerful…so beware!
Good luck.
if u have an interest in getting better…yes….if nt …no
There is a lot to deal with when one seeks help through marriage counseling. It has to start with a desire by both parties to keep and improve their marriage.
Both must be willing to learn and do the many things they will be taught.
Marriage was instituted by God and needs to be dealt with through Bible teaching and instruction, so one needs to find a good Christian marriage counselor to work with.
If you enter into a program like this with the right attitude and follow through with it doing the work and reading that go with it, and do the things you are taught, it will no doubt, change your life, your marriage, and your thoughts concerning midlife crisis.

It only works if you truly want help and you are willing to work with the counselor to solve and get past your problems.
